Offered is a Spalding Official National League Charles Feeney baseball which was used during the Philadelphia Phillies 3-0 victory over the San Francisco Giants on April 25, 1972. Hall of Fame Phillies hurler Steve Carlton, who started the game & picked up his 3rd victory of the season by striking out 14 against only 1 hit in 9 complete innings, has signed the ball along with an inscription reading "4/25/72 Win #3 Phils 3 Giants 0".
