1972 Pittsburgh Pirates Game Worn Home Jersey (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a Pittsburgh Pirates home jersey dating to the club's 1972 season. Rawlings size 42 tag sewn inside tail with a Set 1 #8P 1972 flag tag while "Pirates" and number 52 are also sewn to the white knit pullover. Number 52 is not original to jersey with the outline of the originally applied numerals still visible indicating jersey likely saw extended organization use after the 1972 season. Heavy wear shown with team repairs & reinforcements present. (96X0164)
