Offered is a home jersey which was donned by Lou Hudson during his 1972-73 campaign with the Atlanta Hawks. No manufacturer tag present though laundry tag and a tag reading "Hudson" in black marker are sewn in collar while number 73 is written in black marker on the interior of the reverse tail. Team name, number and player name are all sewn to the jersey in red on yellow double tackle twill. Heavy use shown.
Very rare one year style jersey. Previously, the team wore a striped example. In 1973-74, the team switched to a V neck style. Although no manufacturers tag is present, this jersey is consistent with the 1973-74 Pete Maravich that entered the hobby, with respects to no manufacturers tag being present. Upon examination, it appears no tag was ever applied. May have been due to the fact the team was experimenting with this new design. (G0643)
