1970-75 circa Johnny Bench Cincinnati Reds Signed Game Worn Cap (MEARS LOA/JSA)

Offered is a game worn Cincinnati Reds cap dating to Hall of Fame backstop Johnny Bench's tenure with the team circa the 1970-75 era. KM Pro Cap label sewn to sweatband along with a stamped KM Pro Cap logo & size 7 3/4. Size of Bench caps varied when compared with examples that have entered the hobby. Bench's uniform number 5 is written on the interior of the crown and the underside of the bill in faded black marker. Bench has also signed the top of the brim in gold marker along with an inscription reading "75 WS Champs" with TriStar hologram 7598646 applied to the underside of the brim to verify the authenticity of the signature. Moderate use shown. Examination the player number 5 under the brim indicates the number was applied before the wear was accrued, which is consist with legitimate game wear. (72Z0212)
