1968 Woodrow Wilson High School Yearbook Featuring Jeff Burroughs

Offered for auction in this lot is an edition of the 1968 Campanile, the yearbook for Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach, California. Featured in its pages is junior and ace hurler for the varsity Bruins baseball team Jeff Burroughs who would go on to be the #1 overall pick in the 1969 amateur draft and play for 16 seasons with the Washington Senators, Texas Rangers, Atlanta Braves, Seattle Mariners, Oakland Athletics and Toronto Blue Jays as an outfielder. His son Sean also plays in the majors at the time of this writing. (N0012)
