This approximately 8" x 10" photo shows frames of the awkward occurrence that took place just after slugger Mickey Mantle clubbed his 536th career home run. To quote the cutline, "Yankees-Red Sox game late 9/20 was interrupted in the eighth inning when a fan left the stands, ran to shake hands with Mickey Mantle at first base; knelt behind Mantle; gave Mick a low bow; and sprinted back to his seat with Stadium security men in hot pursuit. Earlier, in the third inning, Mantle had smashed his 536th career home run."

Reverse notations include: SPORT stamp, United Press International Photo stamp and No. 27 sticker. A0870
