Elroy Face was a man with the rubber arm when in Pittsburgh. During his career in Steel City, Face appeared in 802 games tying Walter Johnson for most appearances by a pitcher with one team.

This ONL (Giles) baseball may have seen use in the game which Face accomplished the feat. Face signed a side panel with a "To Charlie Best Wishes" salutation. An occupying side panel has "802 Games" written.

The ball shows light use.
