1967 Charlie Sands Adirondack Professional Model Game Used Bat - New York Yankees - 1971 Pirates (MEARS LOA)

Charlie came up as a back up catcher to Elston Howard of the Yankees but is best remembered as a key player on the World Champions Pittsburgh Pirates team in 1971. He helped the Pirates win the 1971 World Series and 1972 National League Eastern Division and the Athletics win the 1975 American League Western Division as well. If you are putting together a collection of the 71 Pirates, this one is tough.
