1966 Ron Hunt New York Mets Game Worn Road Jersey (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a New York Mets road jersey which was donned by infielder Ron Hunt during his 1966 campaign with the club. Wilson size 40 tag sewn to tail while a strip sewn in the collar reads "33-40" indicating the original jersey number and size. "New York" and number 51 are sewn to the jersey in blue felt on orange twill, with the number change appearing to be executed by the team at some point after issuance to and use by Hunt.
