Offered is a Los Angeles Dodgers home jersey which was donned by outfielder Willie Davis, who accumulated over 2,500 hits & was named to two All Star teams over the course of his 20 year career, during his 1965 World Series Championship season with the club. Spalding manufacturer's label sewn to tail with a size 42 box tag above blue stitching reading "W Davis 65". Laundry instructions are sewn to the inside tail with a flag tag reading "Set 1 1965". "Dodgers" sewn to front of jersey in blue heavy felt while Davis's number 3 is sewn on the reverse in blue felt and to the front in red felt, with some bleeding to the surrounding fabric likely caused by laundering of the garment. Davis has also signed the jersey in black marker. Heavy use shown with some some light red staining in the area of the signature and a tear to the 4th button hole. (F0038)
