1965-67 Tony Conigliaro Boston Red Sox H&B Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a professional model Tony Conigliaro game used H&B Louisville Slugger dating to the prime of his career with the Boston Red Sox circa 1965-67 before his life was forever altered when an errant fastball from California Angles hurler struck him in the face during their game on August 18, 1967. Model S180 stamped on knob while Conigliaro's uniform number 25 is written in black marker on both the knob and barrel's end. Bat currently measures 36", weighs 34.5 ounces and shows heavy use with pine tar and a shattered handle which has been repaired with approximately three dozen period nails. (84L0644)
