Offered is a Minnesota Twins road jersey dating to Jim Kaat's 1964 season with the team. Spalding tag sewn to tail along with "Kaat 36 44 64" chain stitched below & a "Kaat" player id strip sewn in the collar while "Twins", number 36 and a team logo patch are also sewn to the grey flannel jersey. Kaat has also signed the tail in blue marker. Also included are a pair of road uniform pants which appear to match the jersey but which we believe were issued to Ken McBride during his 1961 season with the Los Angeles Angels. Tim McAuliffe tag sewn in waistband along with a 61 year tag and "37 36 26" chain stitched representing McBride's uniform number, the waist measurement & the inseam. "52 - Sherrod" also handwritten on waistband indicating likely multi player use by George Sherrod who played in the Angels minor league system from 1963 to 1966. Heavy use shown to jersey while pants show more moderate use. (79G0420)
