Do you think Cal Ripken Jr. put his parents through those terrible twos as a baby. Taking one look at this photo our best guess would be no way.
Like a nice boy, the man who would become a baseball legend is sitting comfortably on a sofa. Most importantly "Aug 62" is stamped on the top dating this to his first two years. Tape reinforcement is still visible on top and bottom but it does not detract from the overall appearance. "Cal Ripken Jr. April 18 mos or 2 yrs" is neatly written on back in ballpoint ink.
Ripken Jr. is one of the most collected baseball players. While rookie cards and even game worn treasures have found their way into the hobby, this is truly a 1-of-1 memento, one which the Hall of Famer probably does not possess.
