1962-63 Gil Hodges New York Mets Adirondack Professional Model Team Index Bat (MEARS Authentic)

Offered for auction in this lot is a Gil Hodges professional model Adirondack team index bat from his time with the New York Mets in the early 1960's. Model number 123C is stamped on the knob.

This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 33 ounces, measures 35" in length and matches team index records with a round signature model barrel and regular knob. It exhibits signs of heavy use with denting and other wear evident on the barrel and a handle crack which has been repaired with black tape.

MEARS grades this bat as authentic.
