Offered for auction in this lot is a Gil Hodges professional model Adirondack team index bat from his time with the New York Mets in the early 1960's. Model 123C is stamped on the knob.

This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 33 ounces, measures 35" in length and matches team/index records with a round signature model barrel and regular knob. It exhibits signs of heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks, a knob chip and an area of dead wood on the reverse of the barrel. Handle remains uncracked.
