Offered is a Rawlings Official American League Joe Cronin baseball which has been signed by 21 members of the American League Champion New York Yankees, who would go on to famously lose the World Series to the Pittsburgh Pirates following Bill Mazeroski's walk off home run in game seven. Miceky Mantle has signed on the sweet spot beneath a "To Devin John" inscription while the side panels feature signatures from Tony Kubek, Joe DeMaestri, Whitey Ford, Yogi Berra, Hector Lopez, Ralph Houk, Elston Howard, Jim Coates, Bob Cerv, Bill Skowron, Bob Turley, Bobby Shantz, Kent Hadley, Luis Arroyo, Ed Lopat, Ryne Duren, Frank Crosetti, John Blanchard, Clete Boyer and Bobby Richardson.
