The periodical, which was issued just weeks after Kennedy was elected the 35th President of the United States, poses the question, "What will Kennedy do as President?" In his three years in office, Kennedy addressed that inquiry by establishing the Peace Corps, winning the Pulitzer Prize, ardently opposing racial discrimination, placing an emphasis on space exploration, providing a stern leadership in a time of national transition and war, and so much more.
Unfortunately, JFK's Presidency was cut short when he was assassinated in Dallas almost three years to the day of this magazine being published.
