Offered is a former New York Yankees star Roger Maris signed index card. This card comes with a full letter from JSA. The index card was signed in black fiber tip marker. Maris, broke Babe Ruth's single-season record of 60 home runs by hitting 61 in 1961. Since then, Maris' record has been broken three times by Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa and Barry Bonds, all who were under suspicion of steroids. Despite the record being broken, Maris' home state of North Dakota still recognizes his record as the true one. Overall Maris played 12 seasons for the Cleveland Indians, Kansas City Athletics, Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals. He cracked 275 homeruns and knocked in 890 RBIs. He was the 1960 and 61 MVP. (G0461)
