Offered is a signature model Spalding 1473 catcher's mitt dating to circa Joe Pignatano's 1957 season with the Brooklyn Dodgers which has been signed by Pignatano along with a "1957 Brooklyn Dodgers" inscription. Heavy wear with Joe's uniform number 58 written on the backhand side. A photo of Pignatano wearing a similar style Spalding mitt with the Dodgers in 1957 is also included. Originally obtained from Pignatano via Hunt Auctions. (96V0286)
