Offered is a 1957 typed letter from the desk of former legendary New York Yankees manager Casey Stengel to a former newspaper carrier of the Minneapolis Star and Tribune newspapers. The letter explains that a large number of carriers were planning a 3-day trip to Chicago, with one of the highlights being watching the Yankees play the Chicago White Sox on August 28. The letter includes the original envelope along with an un-punched original Chicago and Northwestern train ticket. The letter itself is in Excellent condition. (59M0138)
