Offered is a Spalding Official National League Warren Giles baseball which was used during the Brooklyn Dodgers 6-1 defeat of the Pittsburgh Pirates on April 13, 1955 at Ebbets Field. Ball has been signed on the sweet spot by Hall of Fame Dodgers slugger Duke Snider while "4-13-55 Opening Day Game Ball Brooklyn Dodgers Ebbets Field Dodgers 6 Pirates 1" is handwritten on the side panel below the signature in Snider's own hand writing.
