1955 Frank Crosetti New York Yankees Game Worn Road Jersey - MEARS A2

Offered is a 1955 Frank Crosetti New York Yankees Game Worn Road Jersey from when he was a coach with the team. The jersey is a Wilson size 42 with correct tagging era and consistent with other Yankees exemplars in the MEARS database. The jersey has been recycled several times as evidenced by the thin fabric around the shoulders which has began to tear as well as the restored "NEW YORK" across the front of the jersey. There is a larger repair on the left front of the jersey by the "K" in YORK" that extends towards the underarm.

The jersey started out as a MEARS A10 with the following deductions:

-3 Restored Front/Missing Button

-2 Repairs

-3 Thin fabric on the shoulders/tearing

Thus bringing the grade down to a MEARS A2. However the manufacturer tagging and #2 on the back are all original to the jersey.
