Baton Rouge was home to the Red Sticks and then Cougars during this labeling period. The offered flannel jersey was worn by an aspiring ballplayer.

Offered are the pants and size "40" jersey. A Rawlings manufacturer's tag and size label are found in the tail of the heavy wool jersey. There is a rubber stamp in the collar.

Also included are pants from the 1956 season. The following are sewn in the waistline: Rawlings Hall of Fame flannel tag, size "36" label, washing instructions and "Set 1 1956" flag tag. A name is washed out of the waistline.
