Spic and Span produced Braves cards in the mid '50s. Measuring 4" x 6", these were produced in limited amounts and represent one of the toughest regional issues for the Milwaukee Braves. Cards of Hank Aaron, Eddie Mathews and Warren Spahn are the most coveted.

From the 1954-56 set are 38 Spic and Span cards, most VG/EX to EX. The Aaron is EX and one of the Mathews rates the same. The second Mathews is GD because of a crease and some toning. Spahn's cards are EX and EX/MT respectively. The Aaron is valued at $200 while Mathews and Spahn are $110 in EX condition in the 2011 Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards price guide.

There is one complete set and a second nearly complete set - missing only Burdette, Aaron and Pafko. Extras include Chet Nichols, Danny O'Connell, Ernie Johnnson, Jack Dittmer and Ray Crone. One of the Del Crandall's is signed in blue felt tip.

Also included are three cards from the 1957 set - Hank Aaron, Johnn Logan, Red Shoendienst and Del Crandall. The Aaron books at $120 in VG condition. We estimate the offered issue at VG because of two creases on the left corner.

The final piece of the puzzle are four 7" x 10" photos from the 1953-57 set. Included are (2) Johnny Logan, Spahn and Chet Nichols.
