1954-55 Walter Alston Brooklyn Dodgers Game Worn Undershirt (MEARS LOA/Family Letter)

Offered is a Rawlings undershirt dating to the outset of Hall of Fame skipper Walter Alston's tenure managing the Brooklyn Dodgers circa 1954-55. Rawlings tag sewn in collar with size 44 stamped below the three front buttons plus Alston's uniform number 24 stamped on the front and back of the collar. Undershirt was originally sold as part of a lot of items originating directly from the Alston family with a photocopy of the original SCP letter signed by Walter's grand daughter also attending.
