Offered is a 6" x 7" original photo capturing World Heavyweight Champion Rocky Marciano wearing specially designed headgear after injuring his nose while training for his title defense against Jersey Joe Walcott on May 15, 1953. Newspaper cutline affixed on reverse along with April 1953 date stamps. (86N0384)
