1953 Johnston Cookies Milwaukee Braves Complete Set of 25 Warren Spahn Eddie Mathews

Johnston Cookies made Wisconsinites rush to the grocery store in 1953 when they inserted baseball cards into the cookie boxes. These regular sized cards were susceptible to wear because they bounced around the inside packaging.

Offered is a complete set of 25 cards from the initial Johnston Cookies set. Most of the cards are VG to EX in condition. The two main men are Warren Spahn (GD/VG with stain and 70/30 left to right centering) and Eddie Mathews (VG with minor staining on bottom).
