Johnston Cookies made Wisconsinites rush to the grocery store in 1953 when they inserted baseball cards into the cookie boxes. These regular sized cards were susceptible to wear because they bounced around the inside packaging.

Offered is a complete set of 25 cards from the initial Johnston Cookies set. These average VG to EX in quality. The two big cards of Warren Spahn and Eddie Mathews. The Spahn issue is VG with corner wear and 70/30 left to right centering. The Matehws is EX with corner wear. John Antonelli's card has a stain on the left side.
