1953-68 Nellie Fox Eddie Stanky Chicago White Sox Jacket (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a Chicago White Sox jacket dating to circa 1953-68. Wilson size 42 tag sewn in collar of jacket with a chain stitched "2" swatch sewn in the right pocket and a white on red "Sox" logo sewn to the left chest. "Stanky 12" is also written in faded marker on the interior lining below the Wilson tag. Based on the style of jacket and number "2" swatch sewn in the right pocket we believe this jacket was originally issued to Nellie Fox circa 1953-63 with likely re-issuance to Eddie Stanky during his tenure managing the team circa 1966-68.
