Branch Rickey is regarded in baseball circles as being the finest front office man of them all. It was Rickey who helped break the color barrier with the Dodgers signing of Jackie Robinson. Also worth mention is Rickey helped the Pirates claim Roberto Clemente from the Dodgers when Rickey worked for the Bucs.

Offered is Ted Wilkes contract which secured his services to the Pirates for 1952. Wilkes signed the back page as did the Hall of Famer, Brach Rickey.

Compacting folds are visible but none of the folds touches either autograph.
