The key veterans of the 1952 World Series, Peewee Reese and Phil Rizzuto, are shown with huge smiles on this original photo taken at the Fall Classic between the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Yankees. Despite some moderate wrinkling, this 7" by 9" piece still displays beautifully. Original caption sheet are affixed at back, in addition to various stampings. The dated stamp from 1953 is from a later use of the photo. The NY Yankees 50th Anniversary Patch worn by the Yankees in 1952 confirms the origonal dating of the image.
