Freddie Lindstrom was one of baseball's finest third baseman and no slouch at the plate either. In 1976 he took his place with baseball's best as he gained induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

While many dispute if Lindstrom is Hall of Fame worthy or not, his peers, yes even Babe Ruth, held him in the highest regard. Lindstrom single signed baseballs are a rare find as he died well before autograph shows were popular.

Also worth noting is Lindstrom gained Hall of Fame inclusion in '76 and died only five years later leaving little time for collectors to add his signature to their collection. Offered is one of the finest Lindstrom single-signed baseballs extant. A creamy white ONL (Giles) baseball holds a stellar blue ballpoint penning and is dated to 1970. It appears as the date was added in Lindstrom's hand as well. "To Don" occupies the north panel. A few tone spots are found on the sweet spot penning. The stampings on the opposite manufacturer's spot are deep and dark.

This will afford one lucky subscriber the chance to cross off the name "Lindstrom" from their Hall of Fame list.
