The Sporting News produced some finest postcards in the 1950s. Each of these measures about 3 1/4" x 5 1/2", is applied to a cardboard backing and has the name of the featured subject on front. The postcards are administered to the backing with glue adhesive.

Some of the highlights include: Pete Gray, Art Fletcher, Wilbur Cooper, Denny Galehouse, James Dyckes, Chick Fullis, John Gaddy, Frank Gustine, Jack Coombs, Harry Danning, Theodore Cather, Hal Rhyne among numerous others.
