Offered are the following postcards, most vintage 1950s. The majority are related to the Milwaukee Braves.

1 - Before he was the best batting coach on the face of the planet, Charlie Lau was a catcher. This postcard, produced by J.D. McCarthy, shows Lau as a catcher for the Tigers.

2 - This Juan Pizarro postcard was made by J.D. McCarthy. His name is written on the back in pencil. There is slight corner wear.

3 - Offered are two Jon Lonette postcards with the Milwaukee Braves. These measure 4" x 6" and are EX/MT. "Produced by J. D. McCarthy" on back. Only made the Spring Training roster.

4 - Offered are four J.D. McCarthy postcards (John DeMert, Don Dillard, Ken Johnson and Len Gabrielson) along with a postcard of Red Schoendients. There is moderate staining on the Schoendienst postcard and his name written on the back.

5 - Bob Shaw is featured on this Braves postcard. This is a slight stain on the back.

6 - Offered is an original photo of Joe Adcock talking with a couple of fans before the game. This photo (5 1/2" x 3 1/2") rates EX/MT.

7 - This postcard features the 1948 Boston Braves. This was the team which lost to the Cleveland Indians in the World Series. Featured on this 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" are Johnny Sain, Warren Spahn and Sibby Sisti among others. The sepia toned offering is EX with some minor corner wear. There is writing on the verso. Made by Tichnor Bros.

8 - Offered is a Ken Silvestri postcard from his days at Newark. His name is neatly written on the back in pencil.

9 - Offerd is a 1925 Charles Grimm Exhibit card form his days with the Cubs. This offering borders on EX with some corner wear, a slight surface crease and a few scant black ink marks (newspaper?) on the verso.

10 - Offered is a Stan Musial Exhibit card, the kneeling variety. There is moderate corner wear. The verso is clean.

11 - Hank and his brother Tommy are captured on this 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" postcard. The color photo has light wear and a clean back.

12 - Offered is a Dixie Walker postcard from the Tigers. This is EX/MT with Walker's name written on the back.

13 - Jo Jo White is represented on this postcard. This was issued in the 1930s. White's name is written on the back in pencil.
