1950's Memorial Stadium Baltimore Orioles and Colts Wooden Seat #4

Memorial stadium was completed in 1950 and originally hosted the Orioles of the minor league and the Baltimore Colts football team. Baltimore got a major league team with the old St. Louis Browns moved there to become the Orioles in 1954.

The stadium experienced plenty of high highs and painstakingly low lows during its years of service.

This offered relic was on display proudly for a few decades and subsequently removed when the stadium was demolished. Each of the offered items shows some wear as it was exposed to the elements fort a few decades. Shipping may be substantial given the size. Please call for shipping rate.

Offered is a wooden seat, still functional, with 1 stenciled on the back rest. At least they didn't have far to go to get up and go to the bathroom. There is moderate chipping and a couple coats of paint have been applied.

Moderate oxidation has taken place on the metal base. This chair is not mounted to wood.
