Captured in this lot of 40 photos is recently passed Hall of Fame slugger Harmon Killebrew. Included are pictures from his earliest days with the Washington Senators through their move to the Twin Cities and also some shots from his post-baseball life. Measurements range from 5.5" x 7" to 8" x 10". Photos contain various handwritten notations, affixed cutlines and date & photographer's stamps on their reverse. Boston Herald Archives Holograms. The original Boston Herald was founded in 1846 by a group of Boston printers jointly under the name of John A. French & Company. The paper was published as a single two-sided sheet, selling for one cent. This is an original photo, in many cases a Type 1 printed at the time of the event. File copies or type 2 photos are also found, and can be distinguished by the markings on the reverse.
