1950 St. Louis Browns Cliff Fannin Game Worn Cap Scarce Orange Thread Version (MEARS Auction LOA)

This size "7 1/4" listing would fit perfectly with its white thread counterpart. According to our sources, this St. Louis Browns, with the orange thread team insignia, is rarer than the white thread version.

Heavy sweat staining is evident on the underside of the brim, which also has "23" written. Cliff Fannin wore #23. The leather headband, with a Rawlings St. Louis manufacturer's label, is free of major cracks.
