I printed a picture of the Senators at home in 1959 with one of their ushers wearing this exact style hat in the orange mesh. The Orioles ushers wore these early open mesh hats in the 1950's and went to the solid caps which they wore into the 1990's. There is no manufacturer on the hat which consists of a mesh body, a solid black brim, caned side panels and a leather liner (coming loose in front) with and Orioles cloth patch on the front. A nice and fairly scarce item for the team or stadium collector. Collection of MEARS staff.
