1948 (August 15) Ted Wilks St. Louis Cardinals ONL Frick Game Used Victory Baseball (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a Spalding Official National League Ford Frick "victory baseball" which was used during the St. Louis Cardinals 8-3 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates during the first game of a doubleheader at Forbes Field on August 15, 1948. St. Louis hurler Ted Wilks would be awarded the victory by limiting the Pirates to 3 runs over a complete 9 innings of work. Various game details are written on the side panels of the baseball.
