Joe Louis against Jersey Joe Walcott guaranteed a good fight. Late in 1947, the two met and Joe Louis won a controversial split decision. Five months later, the two combatants met again and this time Louis won with a little more ease.

Offered is an on-site program from when the two hooked up June 23, 1948 at Yankee Stadium. There is some light toning and edge wear on this EX publication. The smallest of tears is evident on the right side. The program is entirely intact.
