Offered is a Spalding Official National League Ford Frick baseball which was used at Braves Field during Game 1, 2 or 6 of the 1948 World Series between the Boston Braves and Cleveland Indians. Ball has been signed on a side panel by umpire George Barr along with an inscription reading "Best wishes to Chas. This ball used in 1948 World Series Boston vs. Cleveland". (73A0237)
