1946 circa George Ratterman Notre Dame Football Outfit Set (Mint in near mint box)

This early-boxed set consists of a mint signature endorsed helmet, endorsed pads, and a jersey, all made by Hutch. The carrying case style original box even has the original cardboard handles with a great picture end label of Ratterman, the entire box remaining in exc. condition with some light staining on the box but a near perfect label. The colors are Notre Dame blue and gold. Ratterman was a QB for Notre Dame before moving to the old AAFC where he played from 1947-49 for the Buffalo Bills. A great early set with a nice display box.  Would look great in your Notre Dame or Buffalo Bills collection
