1942 Babe Ruth New York Yankees & Walter Johnson Washington Senators Original 15" x 11" Photo - The Babe and Big Train Face Off One More Time

Babe Ruth and Walter Johnson were two of baseball's grandest superstars. In 1942, the war effort led to an Old Timer's game of sorts. Ruth faced off against The Big Train and, true to form, the Bambino connected for a home run against his Hall of Fame pal.

Offered is an original 15" x 11" image (3-in-1) showcasing some of the highlights of that event at Yankee Stadium. The reverse features these notations: "Aug. 24, 1942" date stamp and "Babe Ruth Walter Johnson Been Bengough" stamped. Edge chipping and creasing is visible although there are no major deterrents.
