The Red Sox have always been the craze among Bostonians. Each summer, fans gather to Fenway Park and cheer on their heroes until the usually bitter final day of the season.
Offered are (26) 7" x 9" photos, expertly applied to cardboard backing. Each photograph is an all original type 1 and each is of the studio style quality work using original images not seen elsewhere. It is unknown as to why and for whom this team lot of photographs were produced but it is evident by the tack holes that they were displayed and someone took quite a bit of time on the backing to produce a high quality display as well. This lot includes basically every player for the Red Sox during the war years and one of the last images of Ted before he went to war. Each player's name is written in calligraphy style below the image on the mount. In their entirety, the photos measure 9" x 12".
