Even some of the most die-hard Brewers fans today aren't aware that the present Major League incarnation of the Milwaukee Brewers is not the first team in Beer City to use the name. Yes, the Milwaukee Brewers were a minor league team long before they were to be the namesake for the big league club in 1970.

This 17.25" x 21.5" frame encases an approximately 11" x 14" Milwaukee Sentinel sponsored Brewers schedule from the 1940s. Besides a sticker affixed to the glass of the frame, and the occasional abrasion on the frame's edges, it remains in spectacular standing - especially the schedule itself. A1778
