1940-44 Charlie Keller H&B Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat - New York Yankees - (MEARS A8.5)

With the stamped weight (35) on the knob and two white tape rings, this bat is typical of the game used Yankee bats of both Lou Gehrig and Bill Dickey from that same era. There is a 7" handle crack and a mounting hole on the handle. Factory records show that Keller ordered the Earl Coombs model with stamped weights on the knob beginning in 1940 thru 1943. For much of his ten American League seasons, Keller formed with Joe DiMaggio and Tommy Henrich as one of the finest outfields in New York Yankees history. This bat is a stellar example of gamer from one of the golden age Yankees best fielders.
