Baseball could thank Babe Ruth for helping revive the sport. Sports survive on competition and fair play. The 1919 Black Sox scandal threatened to rip apart the game from its seams.

But Ruth entered the fray at the right time and stole the hearts of baseball fans from coast to coast.

This baseball 100 years stamp (1839-1939) is signed by baseball's true savior - Babe Ruth. Ruth signed the front in his steady hand. The stamp is placed against a cardboard backing. The signature is strong and is free of any skips or imperfections.

Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA holder (65066225).

Also included are four similar stamps and Cooperstown Century of Baseball cachet.
