1938-40 Kent "Rip" Ryan Detroit Lions Game Worn Home Jersey (MEARS A10)

Offered is a Detroit Lions home jersey dating to Kent "Rip" Ryan's tenure with the team circa 1938-40. O'Shea Knitting Mills, garment tag & a size 40 tag are sewn to crotch strap with an additional O'Shea Knitting Mills tag sewn in the collar while number 2 is sewn to the front and back of the blue durene jersey in silver tackle twill. Jersey fastens via a 6 button crotch strap and also features padded elbows. 1938 Detroit Lions team photo showing Ryan & his teammates wearing similarly styled jerseys will attend as will a LOA from Hunt's Super Bowl XLVIII Live Auction.
