Nice original team shot put out by International News Photos with the original paper news description on back that states "The first group photo of the New York Giants... Champions of the National League" The photo is not dated by using the National League Champions and jersey style, it can be pinpointed to 1937. Even though they lost the series to the Yankees in both 1936-37, they wore a sleeve patch in 1938. Players include Hubbell, Travis Jackson and Bill Terry. There is a crease on left of picture and some wrinkling. 01239 Collection of MEARS staff.
