Offered are two 7x9 official press wire photos of former boxing star Joe Louis playing in two exhibition softball games in 1937 and 1938. The photos feature Louis in 1937 posing in an action stance and in the 1938 photo camping under a high fly ball to make a catch. Each photo is in excellent condition with some minor edge wear or some surface/editing marks. During the 1930's Louis held several exhibition softball games where the team he fielded would come and play a certain towns "all stars."
